Pest Control and Exterminator Service in East Goshen Township, PA

Hershey's Mill, the township's large 55-plus golf community, sets East Goshen Township apart from its neighbors, and many of our calls here come from homeowners who want quiet, low-disruption service. No Bugs Exterminator is about 25 minutes (13 miles) away in Media, one of the shorter drives on our Chester County map, and the first visit is always a free inspection. Homes along Paoli Pike and Route 352 mostly date to the late 1970s and 1980s, so termites, mice, ants and fall stink bugs lead the list.

Golf-Course Villas, Paoli Pike Colonials and Fall Invaders

East Goshen homes have a 1982 median build year and about 28 percent renters in Census (ACS) estimates. Attached villas share walls, and mice that enter one unit's garage often reach the next.

Open fairways and wooded buffers draw stink bugs and boxelder bugs to sunny walls each fall, and damp crawl spaces attract termites.

Most neighborhoods went up between the 1970s and the 1990s as colonials, villas and carriage homes, with poured or block basements, attached garages and wood decks off the kitchen. Decks and patio frames from that period are now old enough for soft ledgers and posts, and the mulch beds that associations refresh each spring hold moisture right against the foundation. That combination feeds subterranean termites and gives odorous house ants a nesting layer at the slab joint.

Ridley Creek rises in the township, and its wooded headwater corridors, along with the open turf around Hershey's Mill, keep humidity high through summer. Mosquitoes breed in slow pockets of water, yellow jackets nest in turf edges and stream banks, and deer carry ticks along the wooded buffers between developments.

A Short Run Up Route 352 from Media

Route 352 runs nearly straight from Media into the township. We walk through the home, garage and exterior with you, explain what we see, and leave a written quote.

Neighbors in Willistown, Malvern and West Goshen

East Goshen borders West Goshen Township along Paoli Pike and Willistown Township to the east, where open land pushes tick pressure higher. About 18,400 people live in the township, and its students attend the West Chester Area School District. Hershey's Mill, one of the best-known age-restricted communities in Chester County, arranges its villas around a golf course, and East Goshen Township Park on Paoli Pike is the township's main public open space. Ridley Creek starts here and runs south through Ridley Creek State Park toward our home base in Media, and West Chester Pike crosses the township's southern end. Most of our East Goshen work therefore sits in two places: villa and townhome rows where mice and ants cross between units, and single-family lots where termites, ticks and stink bugs come from the open land behind them.

Questions from East Goshen Township homeowners

Do you schedule visits for residents of Hershey's Mill?

Yes. We work inside villas and around their garages and patios, and we are happy to explain each step to residents who want to know what is being applied and where. If your association manages exterior work or landscaping, check with it before scheduling outside treatment. The first visit is a free inspection.

Why do stink bugs gather on our walls every fall?

Brown marmorated stink bugs, an invasive species that was first found in this country near Allentown, hunt for warm winter shelter. In October they cluster on sunny walls and squeeze through gaps around windows, siding and attic vents. Closing those openings and applying an exterior treatment ahead of the migration keeps far more of them out than vacuuming later.
